Flaunt your hand made Santa Hat!

The much known Santa Claus is linked up with providing gifts to the children during the Christmas period. Materials Required:

• Two rectangles of red color cloth measuring 28 x 33cm
• A white strip of faux fur measuring about 10 x 61cm
• One large fluffy white pompom
• 3m rectangles of green felt measuring about 10 x 5cm
• Three red buttons for designing berries

1. Take 1. 5cm up from the bottom side of the rectangle then draw a horizontal line across the felt surface.
2. Mark the hat’s point by marking the center along with the top side of the rectangle, and thirdly you need to draw two diagonal lines down the edges of the horizontal line. Cut the pieces along the diagonal lines. Repeat the same process on the other piece.
3. Place both the pieces together and sew it up on the sides of the hat. Put the fur on the hat, and keep the furry side down, so the bottom edges are lined up along with the horizontal line you need to draw this and sew it on. Repeat it on the other side.
4. Cut out the holly shaped leaves from the green felt and then backstitch them onto the front of the Santa hat, adding few buttons for the berries. Lastly, hand stitch the pompom to the top point of your hat.
